Now in its 24th year, the prestigious jazz festival of Africa is held annually in September at the Sandton International Convention Centre. With an exciting lineup of renowned jazz stars from around the globe, this event is considered to be the pinnacle of jazz in the continent.
Despite being in South Africa during this year’s festival, which took place on the 29th and 30th of September, I unfortunately could not attend as I was occupied with my passion for event hosting. For the second year in a row, I had the honor of anchoring the African Aviators’ Sustainability Conference and Towers Awards. Nevertheless, I had the opportunity to join the Ekurhuleni Jazz Association for their lively Jazz after-party at the Phola Corner Stone, located at 1 Turk Street, Clayville West, Olifantsfontein Midrand, South Africa. It was a fantastic experience and attached are some pictures we took during the event.
